Does Alice Springs have a Parkrun?

Visitors to Alice Springs often ask "Does Alice Springs have a ParkRun?"

In 2022, on the first Saturday of each month, Alice Springs Running and Walking Club is hosting a free 5km footpath fun run/walk called the Free 5km River Run.

It is a FREE monthly 5km footpath loop to suit anyone! Can you improve on your own 5km PB time?

Start/finish at the River Footpath on Leichhardt Terrace opposite Todd Tavern (near the recently completed ‘River Activation Space’).

Please register for the event beforehand using the link https://www.asrwc.com.au/events/ however we will accept registrations on the day.

Event briefing 7am sharp (or 7:30am in the cooler months, check event details)
Will also include a PRIZE DRAW before the race for members.

NOTE: PARKRUN BARCODES ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THIS EVENT. Event timing will use the ASRWC bibs provided.

ASRWC 2022 member bibs will also be ready for pick-up for registered members. Don’t forget to bring your own ASRWC 2022 bib if you have one.
