Event information

Registrations for this event are closed.

Leg 1: Northside

6:15pm, Friday 22/07/22

7km. Starting and finishing at our beloved Telegraph Station.

This one is a classic and combines Arrwe loop, clockwise with a trip around Spencer Hill (via Stuart Trail) before you return to the Telegraph Station Lawns for your finish, along the smooth fast Eastside Link. This course is great for beginners wanting to try night running and is the perfect way to warm up into the series.

Head torch required.

Leg 2: Southside

7am, Saturday 23/07/22

8km. Starting and finishing at end of Dave Baldock Dr (across the railway).

Ease into the run along the flats at the base of the range as you head west. Now it's time for things to get a bit more exciting... with a left turn and the legs warmed up, it's now time to get those glutes, quads and calves pumping! All that is left to do now is ride "The Rollercoaster" (yep, it's a Strava Segment) along the ridge back to the start. It's a hilly one but unique country and the views are amazing! This course is along 4wd tracks.

Leg 3: Eastside

6pm, Saturday 23/07/21

5.5km. Starting and finishing at a spot along Undoolya Rd.

With this one you are in for a sunset run along some Eastside trails. You will be running along the mythical Pegasus and Skyline before cruising back along the bumpy Inarlenge (Echidna). This is the shortest of the series but does that mean easiest???? Head torch required.

Leg 4: Westside

8am, Sunday 24/07/24.

7km. Starting and finishing by the Mulberry Tree at base of the Better Be Good trail. There is plenty of space to park on the side of Larapinta drive.

Bring your Four Corners 2022 series home!

This course has a bit of a mix of everything, epic views of Gillen, some good climbs, a tiny bit of technical stuff, switchbacks, smooth and flowy trails too. Up Better Be Good, navigate the wooden bridge then tackle Corey's Climb, head on! Float down the other side to jump onto Atetherre (Budgie) for some real smooth flowy trail. Jump onto Nturrerte (Spinifex Pidgeon) when you get to the Westside Junction. Now you will get to take on the switchbacks up a small rise. Follow the sign left onto Mulga Bill at the 4wd track and take a look around at the highpoint before following the Mulga Bill single track all the way back until the turn to link back up with Better Be Good for the last downhill switchbacks into the finish line. Don't forget to ding the bell if you are a full series finisher!!

Volunteers:

SWEEPS - We will be needing sweeps for each event. A sweep follows the competitors, always keeping behind them. Sweeps ensure no-one is left behind, picks up any rubbish that may have been dropped unnoticed and collects the trail markers. A sweep can hike behind participants or time their start so they can get some running in themselves. A sweep will be in contact with the race director. The great thing about being a sweep is that you get to do the course for free! If this sounds like you, get in touch with Jess Toll jessica_ann_toll@yahoo.com.au or 0439620613.

REGO/START LINE HELP - We would love some help to get everyone registered and checked in before the event starts. You can do this role and also participate in the event. If you are able to arrive an hour before the event that would be perfect. Again get in touch with Jess Toll jessica_ann_toll@yahoo.com.au or 0439620613.
