2023 Grand Prix Winners
We love seeing our members participate, above all else, at our events. Of course, winning is wonderful, but turning up, having a great time and encouraging others are just as important :) These winners represent all of these things, and we were happy to be able to reward them with a gift card for their efforts this year. Keep your eyes out for 2024's member comp. Marsha will be the mastermind, and we can't wait to see what she comes up with.

Summer Sunday Series Success
Wow! The Summer Sunday Series were a blast to put on; we had such a great time with everyone putting on some fun trail events, chatting and nibbling on some yummy food. The last event certainly threw us a curve ball but we were able to sort out a course change with that torrent of water :)
If you haven't seen them.. you can find the results here (Thanks Marsha):

November 2023 Member of the Month
We have the pleasure of announcing November 2023's Member of the Month...
Anna Lennie!!
Anna supports her friends, family and just all runners in general in the background by volunteering and being an amazing and thoughtful person. She is at Mulga camp every year for Westmacs, giving kind words, delicious food or telling you to get your skates on if needed. She ran and volunteered at The Red Centre Wringer after being ill, and still managed a few laps and did an Assistant RD shift that evening. She participates in club events regularly, bringing a smile and cheering everyone on from the sidelines.
And most recently, she surprised Hehlee Duke with her 1st marathon in South Australia and then ran the whole marathon with her.
A big thank you to Anna for all that you do.
Who's our Member of the Month for December? Well, we usually would have a shout-out for a nomination, but we have already received one, and we'll share it soon. It will bring a tear to your eye, it is so inspiring!!
West Macs Monster - why not upgrade?
If you haven't already heard, the 25km Simpsons Monster is sold out, and the 65km Ormiston Monster too! If you are entered in this event for 2024, have run a Monster before, and perhaps have been toying around with pushing yourself EVEN further.. why not consider upgrading to the 128km Ellery Monster ? Spots are still available for the 128km Ellery Monster or the 231km Sonder Monster! https://
